Nina Worren is mainly working in the field of photography, video, text and mixed media.
Working with personal documentary, archive, staged and performative processes, recreation of dreams and memories, she investigates what it is to be human nature.
She is interested in existentialistic questions
touching topics of heritage, intimate relations, mental health, identity and our relation to nature.
Her work is visually poetic, expressive and cinematic depictions describing an inner, psychological state of being, the presence and absence in our relations to others and our surroundings.
Often there is a tention in the work, something uncanny – a sense of that something has happened or is going to happen.
