Through personal documentation, recreation of dreams and memories, staged and performative processes, Nina Worren investigates what it is to be human nature.
She is interested in existentialistic questions
touching topics of intimacy, alienation, solitude and stillness.
Her work is visually poetic, expressive and cinematic depictions describing an inner, psychological state of being, the presence and absence in our relations to others and our surroundings.
Often there is a tention in the work, something uncanny – a sense of that something has happened or is going to happen.
